Gulftainer’s Canaveral Cargo Terminal Successfully Passes 10th Consecutive U. S. Coast Guard Annual Inspection
Gulftainer’s US-subsidiary, GTUSA, has announced that its Canaveral Cargo Terminal has successfully passed its United States Coast Guard (USCG) annual inspection with nil deficiencies for the 10th consecutive time.
This achievement underscores GTUSA’s unwavering commitment to maintaining the highest safety and security standards in compliance with the Maritime Transportation Security Act (MTSA) and regulations for handling certain dangerous cargo, with additional security procedures needed to satisfy the ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) requirements vital for our space industry customers.
The USCG Inspection ensures that waterfront facilities adhere to stringent federal regulations, safeguarding both personnel and the surrounding environment. GTUSA’s continued success in meeting these rigorous standards highlights the entire team’s dedication to operational excellence, security, and environmental stewardship.
“We are honoured to receive another perfect inspection result from the U. S. Coast Guard,” said Luke Richards, Managing Director of Canaveral Cargo Terminal. “This milestone reflects the dedication and professionalism of our team, as well as our strong, long-standing partnership with the U.S. Coast guard in upholding the highest maritime safety and security standards.”
GTUSA looks forward to continuing its collaboration with the U.S. Coast Guard and regulatory authorities to ensure the safe and efficient movement of cargo through the Canaveral Cargo Terminal.
